adam-caldwell-keller-williams-atlanta

Adam E. Caldwell is a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty Atlanta Perimeter in Dunwoody, Brookhaven, Sandy Springs and Roswell

What was your first job in the realty industry? I worked in construction for a while in the early 2000’s.

Where did you grow up? I was born in the city of Atlanta at Crawford Long Hospital. I grew up just outside of the perimeter in Conyers, Georgia. I love the city and everything it has to offer.

Growing up, what did you want to be? Growing up, I competed at a high level in baseball, so of course, a professional baseball player was my childhood goal. I got into athletic training as my baseball career moved into the college level at Georgia State University. I still enjoy sports medicine and physical therapy.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? I love the outdoors. Whether it’s going to the park, hiking or getting out on Lake Oconee, being outdoors seems to be very therapeutic for me.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Bill Murray. He seems to put things in perspective very well. I’m sure he also has some great stories.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? Anytime I can get to a Braves game when the weather is nice. The Hawks, though, have my attention now.

What do you love most about the industry? My industry is very intense and competitive. It is also very rewarding. Buying a home is among the biggest decisions someone will make in their life. To be able to take some of the stress off them and see the smile on their face when they know they’ve made the right decision is truly what makes the grind worth it to me.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? My commitment to the individual. I will do what I say I’ll do when I say I’ll do it.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? There are so many variables in a real estate transaction. Granted, I am surrounded by an incredible network of individuals, but there are only so many things you can control. Sometimes that can be frustrating.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Starbucks is a good spot. I feel like just about anywhere is a good place to network.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? In real estate, being a part of Keller Williams Realty; personally, my wife is my greatest accomplishment.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? I thought “American Sniper” was an amazing movie.

What is your favorite restaurant? My favorite restaurant in Atlanta is Agave on Boulevard.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta? It has to be the Fox Theatre.

What kind of car do you drive? Honda Accord.

Smartphone or paper? Smartphone.

What is your favorite city after Atlanta? Charleston, SC.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Lead generate every single day.

What’s your favorite real estate iPhone/Android app? Of course it’s the KW Realty App.

Who are your favorite people to follow on Twitter? Chad Hyams (@ChadHyams) and Inman News (@InmanNews)
