Growing up, what did you want to be? Actress/singer/dancer and attorney
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Rollerskating and dancing
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Maya Angelou. She was an amazing woman, matriarch, mother, author, and most importantly, a philanthropist. I admired her and loved her poem “Phenomenal Woman.”
Where is your favorite place to hang out? Rollerskating rink
What do you love most about the industry? Helping people achieve homeownership and build a legacy for their families.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I am a tech geek at heart. I am passionate about teaching technology and helping others be more productive and profitable as a result of leveraging technology in their life (personally and professionally). I have a magnetic personality and have a great smile, and am full of positive energy. I am also very funny. Humor and laughter are major parts of my life.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? People management. It’s difficult teaching “uncoachable” individuals. Some people just get it, while others cannot embrace change.
Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Atlanta Business League, Cobb County Chamber of Commerce, Atlanta Board of Realtors, Real Estate Connections and GenGen Mastermind Atlanta
What has been your greatest accomplishment? Legacy Realty & Management has been my greatest professional accomplishment. And personally, being the mother (“Super Mom”) to three wonderful sons is truly my greatest accomplishment.
What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? “The One Thing” by Gary Keller was a great book that I finished earlier this year. It was timely and is helping me continue to focus on one goal at a time.
What is your favorite restaurant? Chin Chin Restaurant
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta? The Tabernacle is a historic, architectural building with lots of character and dimensions. I love the diverse uses of the space for entertainment.
