What was your first job in the realty industry? I was a Realtor.

Growing up, what did you want to be? An interior designer
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Read, “unplug”
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Frank Lloyd Wright, the architect. My love is beautiful homes and interiors, and his homes are my all-time, absolute favorites.
Where is your favorite place to hang out? Anywhere with friends
What do you love most about the industry? Meeting different people from different parts of the world and learning what “home” means to them.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? We are a husband-and-wife team that thrive on taking our time with our clients and not rushing to move on to the next sale. Also, I have a design background and I stage my listings at no charge.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Scheduling and dealing with other people in the industry who do not perform their jobs as expected
Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Around town, Starbucks, new local shops, local restaurants and even grocery stores
What has been your greatest accomplishment? Being a wife and being a mom of three very accomplished young adults
What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? “The Millionaire Real Estate Book” by Gary Keller
What is your favorite restaurant? Olive Garden

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Spend your first few weeks contacting everyone you have ever known and tell them what you are doing. Ask for referrals and anyone they know who may be buying or selling in the near future. Be BOLD! Don’t wait on the business to come to you!
