Jere Metcalf heads back to Sotheby’s

This month, Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International announced Jere Metcalf Partners will be joining the firm after a stint at Compass. The Jere Metcalf team, led by industry leaders Bridgett Posey, Chad Carrodus and Adam Vicars, will join the Sotheby’s team at their Buckhead location.

“We take great pride in partnering with dedicated agents who share the same mission and values as we do,” David Boehmig, CEO and founder of Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty, said in a press release. “We are a family-operated business defined by our servant-first commitment to our clients and the communities we serve. Jere Metcalf Partners has always been an excellent example of this vision and we welcome them home.”

New name for real estate mega-brand

NRT, the parent company of Coldwell Banker, Corcoran and Sotheby’s International Realty, announced this week they would change their name from NRT to Realogy Brokerage Group.

“As Realogy continues to transform from a holding company to a true operator of leading residential real estate brands, brokerages and businesses, we have made significant progress in simplifying our organization to focus on our core drivers,” Realogy President and CEO Ryan Schneider said in a statement. “Renaming our operating segments further streamlines how we communicate the real estate services we offer and amplifies the Realogy name across the primary work we do.”

Sharp Group joins Berkshire Hathaway

Sharp Group Atlanta has joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties’ Alpharetta/ North Fulton Office, according to a press release.

Ann-Marie Sharp, who leads the team, was named one of Atlanta’s Top 100 Producers by The Atlantan magazine in 2019.

“We have always provided our clients with the highest level of service,” Sharp said in the press release. “We are excited to have now aligned our team with a brokerage with the same standard of excellence and superior level of marketing and technology.”
