Hawks returns to Guild Mortgage

Jeffrey Hawks and his team joined the Atlanta branch of Guild Mortgage, according to a press release from the company. 

Hawks previously served as an executive loan originator with Southeast Mortgage. It’s a return to Guild for Hawks, who served there as a loan officer from 2015 to 2019.

“It was an easy decision to return to Guild,” Hawks said in the press release. “The company has been in business for 60 years and offers the best support in terms of operations and technology. Guild can close and service loans in any environment, which has been remarkably evident the last few months. It’s great to be back with such a stable, growing company that puts its customers and referral partners first.” 

His team includes loan officer assistant Bethany Miller and transaction coordinator Paula Heard.

Mark Spain opens Alpharetta office

The rapid expansion of Mark Spain Real Estate in Atlanta has prompted the company to open a second office in Alpharetta at 217 Roswell Street.

“Agents will be operating in the new office space this week. The new location is less than two miles from Georgia 400 and is located near Wills Park and historic Alpharetta,” the company noted in a press release.

That brings the grand total to five metro Atlanta offices. That also includes an office in Athens and offices in Raleigh, Charlotte and Nashville.
