Born in Scotland and raised in England, Annette Ross had the United Kingdom as a backdrop for her childhood. She moved to the United States 27 years ago, and even after almost three decades, she’s retained her British accent, much to the delight and intrigue of her clients. “When clients hear me speak, they are typically inquisitive about where I am from,” notes Ross. “It can bring a smile to their faces, especially when they hear me say the word ‘garage.’” While her accent can be an icebreaker, it’s her high level of customer service that keeps clients coming back.
Ever since she was a little girl, Ross has loved real estate. “I used to love the buildings,” she remembers. “Long before the TV shows about buying and selling, I was just so good at pricing homes. Before becoming a Realtor, I used to guess prices of homes before I knew the price published.”
Ross became licensed in real estate 14 years ago after working in the nonprofit sector, an experience she credits with strengthening her work ethic. As an agent with Harry Norman, Realtors, she is known among her clients for being easily accessible. “Clients often have concerns or questions and are having to make decisions quickly. They appreciate my availability and communication,” she explains, also noting her level of patience and willingness to go the extra mile when her clients least expect it.
Harry Norman, Realtors has named Ross the Intown Office’s No. 1 individual agent for volume sales for the past two years. “These are amazing top-producing agents,” says Ross, “so it’s special to get this type of recognition from your brokerage.”
Whether going over marketing and pricing strategies with sellers or exploring market trends with buyers, Ross conducts business with the utmost integrity, and her clients’ are always her top priority.
