A top producer and the principal managing broker at ABR Realty Group, Joshua O. McClendon leads one of the premier brokerages in the city, serving clients all around the Metro Atlanta area. Since beginning his career nearly seven years ago, McClendon has sold over $25 million in residential real estate. “When I came into this industry at the tail end of the real estate crash, I had to find a way to distinguish myself from the other thousands of Realtors in Metro Atlanta,” he says. “I feel proud and blessed to have achieved such high sales numbers in my short career.”

McClendon, a former fuel quality-control inspector for ExpressJet Airlines, serves a vast array of clients, ranging from celebrities and entrepreneurs to teachers and military families. “Prior to becoming a licensed Realtor, I had been involved in two real estate transactions that were simply horrible, so I want to position all my clients to never go through what I experienced as a buyer,” he says, explaining that he studies lending guidelines and mortgage programs to ensure that the underwriting process goes smoothly. “I understand that every client can’t be a cookie-cutter file or transaction, but that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve to be a homeowner.”

McClendon is a Certified Negations Specialist, Relocation Specialist, Certified Trio Preferred Agent and certified NACA Real Estate Agent. He is a member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors and is an active supporter of the Center of Hope Ministries Inc., Antioch Baptist Church and FOR US Sports Organization.

Outside of work, McClendon’s No. 1 priority is spending time with his family and friends.
