Growing up in Atlanta and later settling in Brookhaven, Michael Fischer became interested in real estate during the booming construction era of the 1990s. “I realized real estate is fundamentally about people,” Fischer explains. “Interacting with and meeting countless intriguing clients over the years has made my career incredibly fulfilling, as I’ve been able to assist them in finding their dream homes while navigating the ever-evolving real estate landscape.”
Team lead of Fischer Arnau Real Estate Partners at Ansley Real Estate, Christie’s International Real Estate, Fischer joined forces with Quinn Arnau in April 2022. “Working with us, clients find a trusted partner,” he says. “We approach transactions with positivity, navigate complexities and ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.”
Fischer currently serves as the Atlanta Realtors Association 2023 president. “Our industry has been navigating a changing marketplace, and it’s the privilege of my career to lead during this pivotal time,” he says. A recipient of numerous professional awards, he was named in the top 5% of Atlanta Realtors Top Producers for the past eight years. A graduate of Emerging Leadership in 2014, Georgia Realtors Leadership Academy in 2020 and National Association of Realtors Leadership Academy in 2023, he was named 2019 Realtor of the Year and 2022 Captain of Industry.
A participant in various local, state and federal advocacy projects related to housing accessibility and affordability, Fischer is also a member of the German-American Chamber of Commerce and supports Lasagna Love with his wife. “I’m most proud of the balance I have maintained with my family,” he says. “I drop off my girls at school every morning and pick them up most days. It’s always been my goal to ensure they get their dad with a full battery. This job can be 24/7, and it takes planning to make sure my priorities are set.”
