Sierra Westrick first took an interest in real estate 18 years ago, however her career led her through small-business ownership and golf-course business management first, where she nurtured her innate people skills. She got a second chance at real estate when she and her husband, David, began considering investing in fix and flips and decided that one of them should become a Realtor. Now, seven years later, they have partnered with Realty One Group Edge specializing in residential and commercial property sales and land sales.
With her husband primarily handling operations and her eldest daughter assisting them both, their brokerage serves metro Atlanta and North Georgia from Realty One Group Edge’s Woodstock office. A Georgia native who grew up in North Georgia and Cobb County, she gets most of her business from referrals and her sphere of influence.
Westrick prepares buyers and sellers for their real estate journey by discussing multiple courses of action. “Plan A is when the whole process goes perfectly. Plan B is something in between and Plan C is the worst-case scenario,” she says. “I tell them to pray for Plan A, consider Plan B and prepare for Plan C. My goal is for everyone to be realistic in expectations and to minimize disappointments.”
When clients describe Westrick, they use words like trustworthy, persistent, professional and caring. She approaches real estate with humility and resourcefulness, saying, “I certainly do not think I know it all, and every day is a new experience, but I have no problem telling my client that I may not know all the answers but I will do what it takes to find the answers.”
Westrick is the current Cobb Association of Realtors President and was recognized as 2021 Agent of the Year by Realty One Group Edge and 2020 Realtor of the Year by the Cobb Association of Realtors.
