Drew Jackson is a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty Intown.

What was your first job in the realty industry? I’m a third generation Realtor, so I was put to work early helping my family get houses ready for showings. Then later, my first paying real estate job was making video property tours.

Where did you grow up? I spent some of my early years in France, but I mostly grew up in Washington, D.C.

Growing up, what did you want to be? I thought that I would like to be in business and run my own one day. I guess real estate was a good fit.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? I usually just pick up my guitar and play for a while. Seems to do the trick.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? There are several names that come to mind, but I think I would choose Frank Lloyd Wright. He’s a big hero of mine and inspired many of my early interests in home design and architecture.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? I really enjoy riding or walking along the beltline. Seems like there’s always something new to discover.

What do you love most about the industry? I like meeting new and interesting people and helping them make such an exciting and big change in their lives. It’s very rewarding and you make long lasting connections with people.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? By being a complete professional and making sure that all my clients are given first class service.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Turning off the wheels at the end of the day.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Different associations around town.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? Being a father!

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? I really liked the movie “Boyhood.” I think being a recent father helped a bit.

What is your favorite restaurant? Kevin Gillespie’s restaurant, Gunshow.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta? The Symphony Tower.

What kind of car do you drive? Ford Edge.

What is your favorite city after Atlanta? Seattle.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Learn to be a great listener.
