Growing up, what did you want to be? PGA Tour Golfer
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Play golf, go to the beach, drink too much wine!
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Napoleon! He believed in meritocracy, the ability to rise to the top of any profession because of one’s ability. He was a Corsican refugee that became the Emperor of the French, I would love to hear his opinion on leadership, ambition and why he lost the battle of Waterloo!
Where is your favorite place to hang out? The golf course, wish I could play more often.
What do you love most about the industry? That there is opportunity everywhere and you are rewarded based on your ability and expertise.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I play to my strengths and I’m always working on myself in order to improve. I put the client first, build a plan tailored to their goals and give them my honest opinion.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? I’m not a native Atlantan. That means I have to spend more time researching and understanding what’s going up in the market. This is a blessing in disguise because I feel like I’m always on my game as a result.
Where do you go to network and meet new clients? I go to the gym and the office. Pretty fun, right?
What has been your greatest accomplishment? Walking on the UCLA golf team! I had to persuade the coach very hard to even give me a chance, thankfully he gave me one!
What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? ‘With Napoleon in Russia’ by Armand de Caulaincourt. He was a personal aide to the Emperor and these are his memoirs of the Russian Campaign and Retreat.
What is your favorite restaurant? The Hump… great sushi place in Santa Monica!
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta? High Museum
What kind of car do you drive? I feel like I’m back in Los Angeles, what kind of question is that?
