Growing up, what did you want to be? Interior designer
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? I take a walk or meditate.
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? I’d love to ask questions of Thomas Edison to find out what made him tick. What a mind to invent all those things!
Where is your favorite place to hang out? The beach is my spot. The serenity and calmness from the waves caressing the shore does the soul good!
What do you love most about the industry? The excitement of meeting new people and helping them find their dream home is the best. I love showing clients the possibilities of a house and how they could personalize it.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? My personality, my experience and talents are unique and definitely an asset to both buyers and sellers in helping them accomplish their goals.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Tight deadlines
Where do you go to network and meet new clients? I meet new people everywhere I go, whether that’s online, in person or through friends and referrals.
What has been your greatest accomplishment? I taught my children how to read at an early age and from there they blossomed in school, and always loved to read. This enabled them to excel in school with scholarships and now master’s degrees!
What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? The Notebook; the tenacity of the husband to care for his wife with Alzheimer’s was stunning to watch. His patience was never-ending. It’s a true love story, heartbreaking but real for so many. I can’t wait for a cure!
What is your favorite restaurant? Bonefish Grill; I love fish!
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta? The IBM Tower (also known as One Atlantic Center)
What kind of car do you drive? My Honda Accord LX is paid for, and at four cylinders gets great gas mileage.
Smartphone or paper? Smartphone; I can’t imagine how we ever operated without them!
What is your favorite city after Atlanta? Sarasota, Fla.
In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Be flexible, and spend money to make it!
