Making Moves: RE/MAX Around Atlanta adds three agents

by Timothy Inklebarger

RE/MAX Around Atlanta has added three new agents to its growing roster of real estate professionals, hiring Kristen Mehr and Rachel Peller – both formerly with Keller Williams – and newly licensed agent Lila Aguirre.

Mehr and Peller will work from the Sandy Springs office and Aguirre will be in the Alpharetta office.

Mehr, who is the owner of Truly Fine Homes, LLC, has lived in Atlanta for seven years and is also an active acrylic painter.

“I chose to move to RE/MAX Around Atlanta because of all of the brokerage firms that I visited and of all of the brokers that I met with, Kristen and Megan were the only brokers who focused on their brand and not the competition,” Mehr said in the press release. “RE/MAX Around Atlanta feels boutique and agent-centric. I had the opportunity to meet with all the big brokers, and none held a candle to the authenticity of the RMAA Brokers.”

Peller is a graduate of the University of Georgia and has worked as an agent in the Atlanta real estate market for the last three years.

“I chose RE/MAX Around Atlanta because of the culture and because of the people that I met there,” she said.

Aguirre is new to the real estate industry having recently switched over from a career in the medical industry. She was motivated to make the move after purchasing her own home.

“Unfortunately, I had a less than positive experience with my agent, who didn’t provide me with all of the resources and information I needed,” said Aguirre. “Buying a home can be daunting, and my experience motivated me to want to help first-time buyers who may think buying a home is out of their reach.”
